The DeLeo Family - Snowball The Cat

When I moved into the new house in Twinbrook I decided to do some remodeling. Its my favorite part of the game :-)   Here are some pics of the Living room. I still have a lot more to do. Don't mind the hubby. He's just showing some school spirit :-)

I decided to turn the upstairs hall area into my hobby space :-)

That's not a real mouse on the floor, but it did prompt me to get a cat.
This old house was sure to get mice in the winter time.
In real life I don't get along with cats too well.
Looks like I don't get along with them in the game either :-P

Funny that the cat was not very approachable on the initial meeting. She was nicer the 2nd time around.
Snowball, that's her name, is lazy, neat and non destructive. At least that's what they told me :-/
"This is only a test bubby."
The hubby loves cats. I'm sure they will get along splendidly.

Looks like Snowball has found the food dish :-)

Maybe we WILL get along...time will tell.

I totally forgot that I added tons of fun things to the school. Now the girls never come straight home.

Across the street at the community garden there are also new store items. Its fun place to visit now :-)
Lucky for the girls that the house is very close to the school. We're across the bridge, on the "old money" side of town  :-)
This is Logan if you have forgotten. She's my favorite.
Looks like the girls haven't the new cat.
Aww, poor Snowball looks upset at the lack of attention. "I'm sure they will notice you at some point."
Thanks for visiting my blog.
To be continued...

The Coffee House

This is a makeover of a place in Twinbrook. Here's some shots of the new coffee shop makeover I did. Thanks to University EP it actually operates like a coffee shop and has Geek Rock playing in the background!

The DeLeo Family - History

Hello simmers!  For those of you who are unfamiliar to my playing style, I have commitment issues when it comes to TS3. Let me explain. First off I hate to stay in one place too long. There are so many worlds to explore that I am like a kid in a toy store, running from one exciting place to another. Over the years, since the release of TS3 I have played with many sims. I get attached to my sims sometimes and I want to keep them forever. The DeLeo Family is one of my most precious possessions. It was the very first family I ever had in the game. The mother is my simself, which I (with the help of my real life husband) made on the very first day I got the game in 2009. A "simself" is a sim you make in your likeness. This means that my husband and I thought that THIS SIM was a perfect depiction of me, or the closest to it  :-)      The father is my real life husband's simself, and though he thinks it looks nothing like him, I think if he turned into a sim tomorrow he would look exactly like this!    :-)    His sim was also made back in 2009 on the first day I played the game. (Please note that over the years with the addition of new traits, likes and clothes, these sims have had new versions updated in my studio to depicted us better, BUT other than that they are the same sims I have played since 2009.)

In real life my husband and I married with each of us already having a son and daughter each. Luckily they were around the same ages and got along perfectly!  Life was good! In the game however, I only played with my simself and my husband's simself until the game decided to randomly give us fraternal TWINS!  In real life my hubby and I had a miscarriage. I always pictured she would be born with his greenish blue eyes and I had already named her Logan (never knowing if it was a boy or a girl). ANYWAY...when my sim gave birth in the game for the first time I instantly named the girl Logan! I was in love with this little sim baby instantly! She aged up to have my husband's eye color but mostly looked like me and had a mix of our traits (computer whiz like the hubby and excitable like myself).  She was the perfect little girl for the game to give me  :-)    The game however, is notorious for doing strange and funny things. This day was no different. Soon after cooing over the birth of Logan, the game announced the birth of a twin! I was stunned! TWINS! No way, but how!  Keep in mind that this happen back in 2009 when the game was brand new. This was the first time having twins in the game for me. I was super excited, and a little shocked. Anyway, the next shocking thing was that the twin was not an identical twin but rather my husband's look alike. Yes, you heard me right. This baby girl, which we named Harmony (for the company eHarmony) was an exact replica of my husband, if he had been a girl :-)    The funny thing about the whole twins being born, was that Logan looked like me and Harmony looked like my hubby. The most important fact was the eye coloring. Logan got the green eyes I wanted so badly and Harmony got my dark brown eyes. So strange and wonderful all at the same time.  Well, to wrap things up, I have kept this family since 2009 because I simply cannot ever see not having them around. To me, they ARE TS3.

Below are just a few pics of my sim family.

My Supernatural Legacy Challenge

My Supernatural Legacy Challenge

My founder  Leo Shakespeare
His name kinda gives you a hint at the kinda guy he is. He's a lover of art. Any art really but his passion is for painting and writing. He was living in Bridgeport until he lost his place and had to move out here in Moonlight Falls. The rent-to-own is cheap and the landlord practically begged him to move in and keep the place up. The landlord said he had to leave town all of a sudden after buying the place, but he didn't say why

Leo is a vegetarian and will be starting his own garden soon. He is also athletic because he hears athletic plus vegetarian spells longer life. He's also a Dog Person and always has his door open to the next best friend waiting to walk into his life. Leo is naturally gifted with the Artistic trait and spends lots of time painting, when he can afford the paint and supplies One trait he has that I'm not to sure of is he is a bit dramatic  I'm not quite sure how that will affect Leo, but let's hope it doesn't slow him down TOO much  Oh, and his favs are the color Black, Dark Wave music, Mushroom Omelette and he is a Cancer with the Lifetime Wish of...you guessed it! Home Design Hotshot!

Leo Shakespeare may not be a rich man today, but he has dreams of someday striking it rich, owning the town and living in the biggest mansion in Moonlight Falls! Let's see if he and his descendants can do it before the 10th generation child is born.

He only had $1033 after getting the house. With that he bought a motor bike and a planter for inside the house. He's a vegetarian and wants to grow some tomatoes soon :-)

Leo has just left city hall. He got his first job! He is now a Fabric Fetcher and makes $272/Week working 8AM -6PM Mon-Fri.   Let's hope the sims here are nicer than the sims in Bridgeport when it comes to reviews 8-/

This marks the end of Week 1 Day 1 for Leo Shakespeare. He now has 1 athletic skill, a new job and a motor bike. His bank is $218.
